Rejection is never easy. I wrote for 27 years before I was published. I threatened to wallpaper our ensuite with all the rejection letters. I never did though. I just kept trying. Tony, it starts with believing in yourself no matter what anyone tells you. Believe.
Rejections always stings, but unfortunately it's part of the business. I guess we all need to embrace the feeling of insecurity because it's one of the few constants.
Really sorry you didn't make the cut. There were a lot of entries. I think yours came really close.

DeleteBummer. I hear ya'. I hate those darn rejections. But it just wasn't right for this anthology. I bet it'll find a home in another. Don't give up.
